SMARTTESTER® software is a graphic based user interface that simplifies access to complex test sequences fundamentally. By means of the system's integrated touch screen, the user is able to create test sequences with a few simple steps and to configure and vary them repeatedly. The system will support all hardware and - due to its modular construction - is adapted for future applications.
UNIQUE USER INTERFACE
With the new SmartTester® software you are just as flexible as with the test rig itself. Create, manage and modify test procedures very easily and configure in a few simple steps your experimental set-up so that you can focus on your product.
The SMARTTESTER® software is simply divided into three different functional elements.
The blocks "actuator", "sensor" and "function" reflect the real test set-up and can be combined according to the user's ideas.
The functional elements are assembled using touch gestures in the work area and thus the test sequence is designed. Modifications can be made at any time both in the sequential arrangement and the function of each item. The system automatically recognizes logical interrelationships and assists the user in rapid and target-oriented work.
By means of the software's protocol functions, the test process can be fully documented. The extremely user-friendly design elements enable users to perform the design quickly and easily according to their wishes.
THE FUNCTIONAL ELEMENTS - SIMPLE YET POWERFUL
In the actuators' library all elements such as linear axes, rotary actuators, pneumatic valves, etc. are displayed. In order to use an actuator in the test it has just to be integrated into the test sequence. By means of pneumatic standard connections the user is able to use his own pneumatic actuators.
In the sensors' library all sensors such as sensors for force, torque or distances appear. In order to use a sensor in the test it must only be integrated into the test sequence.
Thanks to standard interfaces such as DMS-evaluation, the user can connect his own sensors, calibrate them and use them for testing.
By means of the library of the program elements, the created test sequence receives its structure. Here again it applies: by intuitively placing elements within the test sequence, the operator achieves his goal rapidly. There is only one requirement to consider: each test requires a start tag and an end tag. All other functions can be freely defined.

When a functional element has been placed into the test sequence, it can be opened by double-tapping.
In the dark grey area actions can be executed immediately by tapping . In the additional grey area the parameters for the step are determined. Each programmed step can also be tested immediately.
